Ventana Holiday Party

Steve flew down to AZ the first weekend of December to be my date for my company holiday party. We arrived early to enjoy early evening around the pool. We sat by the fire and watched the sunset change the colors of the mountains. Here are a couple shots from the night.

Kitty Bath!

It was time for bathtime for Simon. I waited for Steve to get in town, because I knew it would take more than one person to make it happen. After the bath, Steve and I decided that we would need at least 3 more people for next time. Although kitty is curious about the bathtub and water, he does not like being wet.

Silly Simon

Everyday after coming home from work, I would find this, the flower guard. I think he really liked how the flowers smelled.

One day when I was cleaning the kitchen, Simon found his way to the microwave. He really likes small spaces, and I literally had to drag him out of it. Yes, I cleaned it again after he got out.

New cheap toy: tissue paper. I keep finding traces of it around the apartment.

I walked into the bathroom one night and found him like this. It was his new place to nap for a few weeks.

It's Fall...

but you wouldn't know it here! I chose the background of fall leaves because it's something I miss about Michigan. Good thing Trader Joe's sells Spiced Cider that is a decent replacement for Michigan Apple Cider.

A funny story about yesterday! I went to Trader Joe's for my usual Sunday grocery shopping. I had a few things that I wanted to pick up, but mostly walked around picking out things that were calling my name. I went to the register to pay, and after the cashier rang me up, he yelled, "YOU WON!!!" And then started ringing the bell like crazy. I was hoping that I had won a million dollars, but instead I got to spin the wheel becuase my total was 4 of a kind: $22.22. I won a free bouquet of flowers, and of course I picked out the most expensive ones!

Look closely and you may see a cat in my roses. I couldn't keep him out of them. He literally smells like roses because he spends so much time in them.

The proof!

Gangstas

My boys spent some good quality time together.

Company Picnic

This year, our company picnic was at Old Tucson Studios. There was pork BBQ, Can Can girls, gun fights, carriage and train rides, and free Ice Cream! Overall, it was a good day. Here are some pictures of me and my friends!

Cooks in the Kitchen

Steve and I have been trying to cook more. Here we display homemade pizza and pecan pie!
